Of course! We may seem stoic for the most part, but getting complimented by our femalw peers can really boost our morale and confidence. Next time you see your attractive male friend, call him cute or "cutie" and see how he goes on for the rest of the day with a huge smile on his face.
It might seem really sad (and even hilarious to some of y'all who are downright heartless), but us men aren't generally used to receiving compliments or told we're looking good. Women are always perceived as the more attractive sex in humans and as such, are expected to be complimented. So complimenting you male friends, colleagues, partner and even sons or brothers will not only be a welcome surprise for them, but you'll also make their day ten times better
Cute is better than nothing, but for a lot of men, especially when hearing it from women they fancy will feel insulted or patronized because it does not really do a good job of portraying sexual attraction.
Cute is something you call a puppy, a baby or actions one takes that come off as sweet. It isn't really used as a term of desire when women convert sexual or relationship interest in a man like handsome or hot or sexy. At least those latter terms are more direct. Cute is ambiguous as all hell.
There was a time in history when being a "Cute guy" was powerful.
Right after Titanic came out I actually got called cute in public by groups of random girls quite a few times. I can thank Leonardo Dicaprio. Looking a little bit like him back then during his superstardom got me a fair amount of attention.
These days big pro athletes and pornstars are in style.
I hear it often enough... for different reasons and under different contexts as well
I don't mind it...
Maybe? Almost no women ever compliment guys, so it's hard to comment on something that never happens.
Ofc I call the homies cute everytime always makes them blush
Of course. It's better than being called unattractive, which I am.
The downside of being called cute is if it means you don't see us as sexually attractive. So context is key. If you mention that we're cute while going down on us, then yea--we'll like that VERY much.
I do like be called cute they anything else. Handsome is kinda outdated and pretty is more for girls.
I don't mind it but I won't believe the person who called me "cute". They're more likely mocking at me.
I would rather be called hot. No hate the word cute.
No, that gives a disrespecting vibe.
maybe thats just me.
