Pick up lines are exactly what they are. A silly assemblage of words aimed at getting (mostly) into a girl's pants. It is by definition a sentence dictated by testosterone with the aim (and hope) to get a girl's attention for the purpose to fornicate with her. To me, it is something so dumb and moronic because the victim of such pick up lines is perfectly aware that the aim is so obvious that it should make anyone at the receiving end cringe. To me, they are like chalk scraping over a blackboard or nails over a chalkboard. I do not find any pickup line funny at all...
