Asking ex girlfriend's friends for advice?

What do you guys think about asking my ex girlfriend's friends for advice on why she doesn't want to be back with me or even be friends? We had a good breakup and talked for a while, we've had a few fights but nothing that could have caused all of her barriers and hesitations towards me.

Is asking her friends a good idea? I assume the word is going to get back to her. Thanks.

If you want the word to get back to her then yeah.

But I was totally in the middle of my best friends previous relationship they would both ask me for advice and I didn't find it very fair on me (she would ask how she could break up with him and he wanted to be with her so badly). I kept majority of his stuff a secret because I wanted them back together so if you know her friends want that it could be OK if not then don't go there. Another thing I got quite annoyed when I heard my ex was talking to other people about us, just because he didn't try to with me, but if you have tried to talk things out with her then you've done all you can.

The only thing you should be talking to her friends is to date them and have your sweet revenge.
