Was my coworker making a move?

Our workplace went to a restaurant and I was sitting with my coworker who is a woman. She works as HR.

The tables were kinda small so we had to sit so that there were 2 persons at each table. We were in the corner and a bit isolated from the others.

anyway, back to the story, she was talking to me and then put her hand on the top of my hand. I got a bit nervous and moved my hand back. She saw that and put her hand back on my hand. I froze up and didn’t do anything. She wasn’t talking at this moment and just looked at me.

Why did she do that? Was she making a move? What concerned me is that she is the HR.

Thats the thing. Why would she touch me then? As an HR she should know better.

My father taught me that the women I worked with were off limits. It was a valuable lesson because I have seen men ruin their lived screwing around at work. She might no be a good HR person because she should know that these workplace romance issues will wind up on her desk.

HR or not, she wants it and she wants you to know
