It’s possible! You can always follow up with her about it though. If she’s a regular at the gym, you’ll likely see her again and exchange information. You could ask for social media just so you can see if she has a boyfriend or someone she’s dating before trying to flirt more. If she’s taken then at least you know to just be friendly with her at the gym.

No, she probably wouldn't have picked up on it as flirting. That's too subtle and could just be interpretted as friendly.
