Girls, A woman invited me to join her at the gym, is this a good sign?

A member of my gym asked me to join her group recently, and says hi when I pass. My rule is to never initiate social interactions at the gym out of respect, so I find it great to be introduced and invited to join her out of the blue. I have a great impression of her; courageous, funny and down to earth; so I'd like to get to know her. I'm single, but even making a new friend would be a great start.

What do you think the meaning is behind this, and is it good?

Shortly after she greeted me, it turned out that classes she attends are a paid add-on that I was not warned or aware of; so it was slightly embarrassing to immediately leave. Afterwards, I saw her in the eatery I usually go to opposite the gym; but she only spoke to her circle, so I sat away. I guess I misinterpreted?

Another woman struck up a conversation with me after I joined an accessible class, and exchanged names. It's common to get interest; but they have to speak to me to start a convo

Unfortunately not, at least not today (see update). She did dress differently though.

Yeah. Oh well, I wasn't hyped for that type of class anyway (mixed activity rotor?); and I got to speak to and exchange names with another woman in another class instead - so not all was lost. Funny that she kept her earphones out until I left. Hopefully we meet again.

The first one had invited me to join her classes, but I couldn't attend. I met the second one when attending another class included in the membership. I'm slim but supposedly handsome, so I get attention from women; I'm just incredibly sheepish, which most misread as disinterest.

I'm not a cocky person. I'm unlucky enough to have both natural looks and introversion, so I also get unwanted attention from creeps that I have no intention of copying.

She is very down to earth, so I don't expect her to be delusional; but I'm not going to overdo myself.
