Why are dilated pupils seen as more attractive?

I've heard this many times yet I never catch the actual reason why would they be more appealing, especially to men on women?

My eyes are grey and my pupils seem to be dilated a bit more than others'. My friends, family especially my sister has noted this. I do not know why I have them like that. I don't do drugs lol

Much what we see most when we talk to each other, We can usually know a lot about someone by looking into their eyes and pick up on what they are thinking for the most part , Why it’s sexy getting Lost in each other’s eyes when we are intimate with each other you can pretty much tell what someone is thinking by looking into their eyes. I usually get compliments about my eyes from girls’ I have blue eyes and apparently blue eyes have a specific meaning to them when a girl tells me I have beautiful eyes or sexy eyes , I just take it as a compliment that she has been checking me out basically letting me know she is interested , it’s not always the case but it’s better to think positive over negative is the way I look at it lol

When you find someone attractive/arousing, your eyes dilate and for that reason there are literally sparkles in your eyes (reflections off your retinas). It's not hard to understand why someone who made you react that way would find it attractive.
