Guys, what is a good way to approach a guy you find attractive, when he’s a complete stranger, for example when you’re simply out in public?

Let me think.
If I was approached by a stranger, I'd be confused off the bat. You'll want to quickly defuse that. Maybe ask a question, since that'll give him a subconscious choice on whether or not to engage.
"Hi, can we talk?" or something. If he's in a rush to leave or something, he can say yes or no. Of course most will likely just go ahead and agree to hear you out. Being approached by women is just kind of rare for me so I don't see it.
Maybe tell him your name, and that you thought he seemed interesting and you wanted to see if your intuition was right. Depending on if it's an introvert, or an extrovert, you're going to need a way to keep in contact. Ask for a number or social media, that way you can talk later when you're both more comfortable. Otherwise, talk wherever it happens at.

Finding a connection is the world right now is very difficult.

Maybe get a bit closer so he has to notice you. Your body language will speak for you. If he is interested his body language will show it too. you can move from there. And yes sometimes even the simplest " hello how are you " can do wonders.

I think people overthink this to much... What id, But , How... and before you know it the "moment" is gone.

Back when I was crazy I would straight up go to guy and compliment him lol. Then try to start a convo from here if he's being receptive. I would never be able to do that today.

It's not that hard. Tell them you like their shoes, their jacket or some article of apparel they're wearing. And ask them where they got it. Keep in mind it could backfire.

I was at an 80's themed party. And this lady came up to me to inquire about these 80's slotted glasses I was wearing that were battery-operated, so they lit up. She asked me where I got them. Well, my brother-in-law had bought them and loaned them to me for the party. So I tapped him on the shoulder and said. She'd like to know where you got these. So he turns around and tells her. Just approach and say literally anything. "Have I seen you here before?" "How do you like this place?" Anything at all. It's he's interested he will give you his attention. Men and women aren't all that different. What works when a man approaches you? Do that.

Walk up put your hand on his shoulder or lower if you are really bold, lean into him and say hi, I couldn't help but notice you and I was hoping I could join you.
I'm thinking as clueless as most guys are myself included would figure out that you were interested in them.
You may get rejected because he is gay, married in a relationship, but that happens.

Great question. If women want men to ask them out, you have to do something to show your interest. It doesn’t have to be crazy complicated, just strike up a conversation. Make eye contact. Smile at guys you are interested in. Show them you’ve noticed them. It’s not hard or risky. If it doesn’t work out you can play it off as you were just being friendly. But you’d be surprised how many guys will be caught completely off guard if you start chatting them up.

Just strike up a casual conversation with him and be honest that you noticed him and wanted to introduce yourself , Guy’s are a lot easier to approach than Guy’s approaching Girls’
