Do you have people often think you are flirting with them?

It has happened to me where my friendliness is mistaken for flirting. It gets annoying when some women at work thinks my small talk about the weather or asking her how was her weekend is taken as flirting. Does this happen often to you?

For me flirting is a way of getting to know people better. Flirting, bantering... whatever works and help me in social situations

When I was in my 20s this happened because I was friendly with all women. But I learned to hold back so there were no misunderstandings. Yeah, it can still happen by accident but it's not due to flirting. More like if I make a comment that is innocent but it's taken the wrong way. Like one time, I said something like, "don't burn up" to a woman who was going out of an air conditioned building into a very hot outdoors. She had a weird look on her face when she looked at me. Think she took it totally the wrong way cause she was wearing a low cut dress with a hem line that was up her butt.

No, never. That is because I am always serious and straightforward and the fact that I never flirt. Hence I am never misunderstood as far as this aspect is concerned.
