I think a lot of people can sense jr someone’s into them or not. Maybe some more then others. But a lot of people PANIC and they seem to feel like someone likes them. But they talk themslves out of it.



Other times it’s the opposite and someone clearly isn’t interested. But they can’t admit it to themselves.



It’s best to be straightforward when you're into someone.

I had a bad habit of escalating but it's very obvious in my case. For example, if a woman touches my arm in a flirty way and I was attracted to her (when I was a bachelor), I would venture to place my hand on her knee.

Still being a gentleman, making sure everything is fine, carefully paying attention to her and making sure she isn't the slightest bit uncomfortable. If she doesn't show the slightest signs of discomfort and keeps talking and laughing with me with my hand resting on her knee, then I slowly moved it to her thigh, again checking to almost paranoid levels that she isn't the slightest bit uncomfortable, not even the most nuanced bit with body language.

And that tended to keep going inch-by-inch if she didn't stop me until my hand was completely up her skirt and reaching underneath her underwear. At that point I didn't even mean to that it that far and actually thinking, "Wait, maybe this went too far!" But we got that far already.

So by that point if the woman didn't already figure it out, I was attracted to her. And I'd usually ask her out soon after.

We were both generally at least a bit intoxicated in those cases. I mainly dated women from drinking environments back then. If we were sober, I might not have taken it nearly that far. But that's generally been my way is to escalate to some point. If she laughs at my joke, I connect the emotional connection we're having with some escalation of the physical.

Most of the time in rl I can tell if someone is into me by how they wanna get close to me, attentive, looks/stares at me, take me to places lol, how they speak to me, and get touchy.

But there are times if it’s my friend or co-worker I’m really friendly/comfortable with, I might be oblivious because my friends would say I’m too blind to not notice how they look/act around me 🤷🏼‍♀️
