Do guys tease you only when they like you?

I have this strange situation with my coworker. He teases me (other too but a bit), he goes to eat with me, he shows me middle finger... and he wants to sit close to me in meetings. Also, he wants me to lead him everywhere since he's affraid. So strange.

I do not know how to react but somehow I think that he's giving me mixed signals on purpose.

Aye girl, it definitely sounds like he's into you! Guys our age tend to act kinda silly when they like a girl. A few things that make me think he's feeling you:

- The teasing is a dead giveaway. We only bust on girls we find cute. It's like our weird immature way of flirting lol

- Eating with just you is for sure a date, even if he plays it off casual. Guys don't usually spend lunches with coworkers they're not tryna get to know.

- Being afraid to navigate alone but letting YOU lead? Total excuse to be close and get your attention sis!

Well, I do not know. My friend told me that he was eating with another only 1 girl some months ago. And he flirts with all the people, only with me he does that pretty... harsh and agressive hmm
Maybe he likes my company but he's strange

Aww shucks, just tryna spread some hope and cheer! But you make a good point about his past behavior - if he flirts with everyone like that, then maybe with you it doesn't necessarily mean more, as much as I wanted it to. Dudes can be confusing sometimes, fo sho.

If he's harsher/more aggressive with just you compared to others, it could still mean something? But it's also possible he sees you as easy to tease hard cause you take it well. Ugh men!

This is very strange indeed. As for your situation I don't think he is teasing you. What you mentioned does not sound like a tease to me at all.

However, for your question itself yes men tend to tease women they like. Of course not all men do that though
