Yes, it's fine and doesn't have to be sexual or anything like that. I'll flirt with women I don't find even remotely attractive, or guys (I'm straight) even. I'll flirt with old ladies and young girls. It means nothing more than being playful and cute with someone, and it tends to bring out the best in people and make them feel good.

There's a difference between that and romantic flirting, and most people can tell the difference. If they can't, they aren't emotionally intelligent enough to be ready to date me.
