She says something similar to "that could've ended differently" a couple time, is this a suggestive and flirty statement?

the first time she said it she was saying bye before going on vacation and we hugged for a while, after she said "that could've ended differently if you weren't so rude to me earlier" then the other day we were in the elevator and she gave me a playful punch and after i said "that's all i get?" she responded with "maybe if you didn't walk away from me earlier it would've been different", i asked my friend what he thought she meant, and he said he had no idea it could mean anything. i was pretty surprised because i thought it was a very suggestive and flirty statement. Curious what others think.

Duuude it really sounds like she was being suggestive and flirty with those comments! I mean come on, saying something "could have ended differently" after a long hug? That's totally hinting that she wanted you to make a move.

And then again in the elevator after giving you a playful punch? She was totally opening the door for you to start getting physical. Girls don't usually say stuff like that unless they're interested in something happening.

I'd say your friend is kinda oblivious if he didn't pick up on what she meant. These kinds of subtle hints are how a lot of girls will show they're into you without being too direct. She was putting the ball in your court to make a move.

Next time a situation comes up, I'd go for it man. Lean in for a kiss or something and see how she reacts. If she's receptive then you'll know for sure. Might lead to other "different" endings in the future, if you know what I mean ;). Don't want to miss your chance!
