Please don’t judge me, but how do I get my crush’s attention on social media without DMing him first?

Ok so I recently added my crush on social media. I didn’t see him in a couple years and we don’t know each other very well. I post on my stories and sometimes he’d like them. I know that’s probably not a big deal. The thing is I have no idea if he’s single or not , and I kinda don’t want to message him first. Well at least out of the blue for no reason cause I have no idea what to say. Is there anything I can post that will probably get him to interact with me or perhaps reply to my story? A lot of other guys have been replying to my story but not the one I’m interested in…does anyone relate?

So if anyone has any ideas, feel free to drop them below. And please don’t judge me too hard for asking a question like this, I understand how it can seem immature and almost stupid. I just would like some insight. Thanks!

If you're literally refusing to be direct and DM (which is by far your best odds, by the way) you can try being a reply guy and just like and comment on his posts. If he's a more forward type, and likes you, he'll DM. If he replies to your comments, it's a chance for you to be a bit flirty. Emojis and lols for sure.

Oh no, he hasn’t posted anything recently so I didn’t comment on anything. I just hope that when I do he doesn’t ignore it.

This is exactly why men don’t understand women and their behavior. You have to be direct with men. Anything else will go right over their heads. Therefore, just message him like you would anyone else.
