She can be shy but when it comes to creeps hitting on her, she will chew them off and I am just standing there like wow dang girl! If she needs me to step in I will but I also want to protect her more.

If some creep is bothering your girl, the best thing is to calmly and politely tell them she's not interested in talking, then get her away from there. Escalating things could get you both into real trouble.

Let your girl handle setting boundaries with her words first. She seems capable of that! Just support her quietly by staying close by her side. If the guy keeps pushing after she's clearly said no, THEN calmly but firmly tell them to back off cause they're making her uncomfortable.
