I was talking to someone nearly every for over a year. They commented sexy on my photos, told me they'd never met anyone like me. Constantly laughing at stuff I said. Really laughing. Laughing and taking the piss our of my photos. Sending photos in bath. The view of legs and bath. Talking about sex. Saying she had a sex dream about a man my age, I was 19 years older, asking the youngest I'd date etc. If I said anything back, she would go quiet. When I sent gifts she would ghost. This went on over a year. Then she disappeared for good. I don't get it.

Dude that's so weird, I have no idea what that girl's deal was lasting that long. Maybe she just liked the attention or thought it was fun to tease you but had no intention of actually meeting up. Some girls are just games like that unfortunately.

A normal flirtationship shouldn't go on for over a year like that without anything happening. Within a month or two tops you'd think one of you would make a move to hook up or ask the other out on a real date.

Constantly bringing up sex stuff but then ghosting when you responded sounds like major mixed signals too. And who asks about the youngest a guy would date but never actually meets up? Weird vibes.

I'd say for casual flirting to turn into anything, within a few weeks max you'd wanna exchange numbers, start casually texting, maybe add each other on social media. Then try to find an activity you both like and invite her to join for that first in person hang.

If she keeps bailing or only talking dirty online but nothing moves to real life, then I'd say she's just using you for attention and you should probably stop wasting time and find a girl actually trying to meet up.
