So I decide to ask for a ride go and back from office to my coworker just to get closer to him on his motorbike.

We are from and living in Asian country with insane standard of morality, so I am really not sure what should I do during the ride. Like should I hold on to his jacket? Or maybe it is not appropriate and might disturb him - and I should just hold on to the backside of his motorbike?


And is it ok if I offer to buy him breakfast to show my gratitude because he already give me a ride? Or that will make me looks stupid?

I won't go into the depths of the matter, arguing about the morality of dating your coworkers, but first and foremost before you decide to make ANY sort of move on him, make sure if he feels the same way about you too and if he too is interested.

Notice how he talks and behaves around you. Does he tend to stand/sit closer to you while at work? Does he smile when he looks at you or sees you come in every morning? Does he seem to behave much more friendlier and social around you as compared to the other female coworkers in your office? If you start to see a pattern that's only there when you're around, I'd take that as a green light to go ahead.

As far as modesty goes, trust me, regardless of how religiously/culturally "inappropriate" romance in your Asian country may seem, it's never an alien concept no matter where you are. Yes, you may have different approaches on different places, and most Asian countries aren't that outspoken and open about expressing affection towards others, but you can still flirt and show the other person you're interested within limits, which is completely fine. A genuine smile every now and then, slight social cues like leaning closer to them while sitting next to one another, or simply wanting to spend more time together is all well and fine, and if he reciprocates those feelings back, chances are he likes you too. Then I wouldn't be so sure if I was you. If your friends with the people he's friends with, try asking them if he's seeing someone and how does he feel about you. Most guys when they like a woman, they will always tell the people closest to them about her and ask what they should do next. If not, move on
