This may come very silly and funny but i usually reply " I don't know " so what are you flirty , funny and silly ways of replying this question š
1 yOnline, I'll just be honest, but in real life, I just say "NO" now, because last time I said "YES", I ended up regretting it. Some lady was trying to set me up with her disabled niece while she was in a relationship with an abuser

You didn't like because the niece is disabled or?
- 1 y
Stealing her away from an abuser, probably wouldn't end well for anyone.
Plus, I can't just date a completely random person. I need to get close to them first and build trust and comfort. Her aunt only talked me for a couple minutes at my customer service job and immediately jumped to the conclusion that I'm a nice guy and good boyfriend material - 1 y
I think you make sense... anyways if her aunt tho so you must be

That sucks

1 yIt's a simple yes or no question. But... my answer usually depends on who's asking, LOL. Just like women, I will use the fictional girlfriend or wife to extricate myself from the unwanted advances of a woman who's hitting on me. The truth is, 99% of the time I'm just not interested in small talk with strangers. It's exhausting.
As another person stated below sometimes they're trying to recruit you for "their girlfriend who is single". Of course their girlfriend isn't present but a married woman wants to set me up with her single (divorced) BFF. Said BFF invariably ends up being a complete turnoff. Uh no, I have seven wives actually. I live in Saudi. I'm a Mormon. I took a vow of celibacy. Anything!

Depends. If there's no interest it's a big fat No. I've told customers who ask "Let me ask my husband" or "I'm married" took it a step further and told a customer about my "wife". If I'm interested or maybe find them attractive "depends whose asking" or "why, are you interested" I've also used "solo-bolo" and "single as a pringle".

1 yI would say something to the effect of "That is a complicated question." If they had wit they would have a clever reply. Maybe hold my interest. If not they would often have no idea what to say back. Those poor men..

Thank god⦠someone else whoās got the same commonsenxe as I do. Maybe thatās why you and I have a moral compass since it follows our age yet those answered otherwise, apparently are not of those who we socialize with.

@HollywoodP579 Lol. Who knows. I was having a debate about the "it's complicated" options in social media "relationship" sections... and the development of words like "situationship"... Signs of the times... moral civilization is going to hell in a hand basket.

1 yProbably something simple like "yes, very"
"I don't know" is such a red flag in my opinion; if a girl said that to meājokingly or notāI'd probably assume she had at least 3 ongoing situationships lol20 Reply
1 yPretty sure if I was dating someone whose response to some guy hitting on them asking if she was single and she said āi donāt knowā, id answer for her⦠āyou are now⦠no need to wonderā. Simply keeping that door open is the reason why men and women nowadays have switched roles and women can't find a good man since men donāt want to marry a woman who has to think twice about potential guys who arenāt their boyfriend. In short, be damn clean and honest one way or another.

He called his wife and asked: "My love, am I single?"
