Why are people confuseing?

this girl who is my best freind thought i was flirting cause i drew a heart on my paper im an artist by the way and she told me she dosent like me (i have asked before politely) so i said ik im just drawing one to draw then she flirts with me by brushing her leg against mine for 2 minuts nonstop then pulls away suddenly and asks me about this boy she likes before saying never mind im not one for skepticism but i seriously dont understand here obviously i not gonna go trying anything considering what she said but im just wondering is there something i am missing or not understanding or is she just giveing me mixed siganls/being freindly

She's messing with you. Just stay away from her and respectfully suggest she stay away from you since she openly claimed not to like you. (Someone did the same thing to me and I had to draw the line.)
