Shall I chase my crush?

Question

There is a guy at work that I really like after noticing that on many occasions that he had been staring at me. I caught him many times staring at me with intense look and sometimes prolonged eye contact. He was very sociable with everybody else but with me so shy. We had only texted each other at work few times but only for work stuff.

I found out that he resigned and I found the courage to send him a message at work chat just to start chatting to him and asked him when his last day would be. He replied and informed me about the exact day and said “if you come by to see you and talk a little bit I ll be very happy.”I went to see him his last day but couldn’t find him alone in order to be able to chat, as everybody wanted to talk to him.

We exchanged a lot of eye contact and staring but even though He seemed interested he didn’t move forward or even ask my number, the truth is we couldn’t chat alone at all and if he did any move it would be in front of everybody and all the work colleagues.

Shall I try to connect with him on social media and if he accepts my request to start chatting to see if he wants to know me better or shall I do nothing about it?

This is very easy to answer. You should definitely try and connect with him on social media. Why on earth would you not? Not doing so, would be an obviously bad choice here. There seemed to be something there. Why would you not do this.

Easiest question to answer ever. There is a clear obvious good choice, and a clear obvious bad choice. The good choice is super easy and is not even a risk. This is a no-brainer.

It is normal and highly suggested to exchange social media to keep in contact to see where that takes you both. Social Media can also be friendly, so you are not coming off strong if you are worried. Goodluck girl! :)
