Is anyone else somehow horrendous at picking up flirting from people of the opposite sex?

For me definitely especially when I was younger I had no clue a lot of the time, I was also usually always in a relationship so I just didn't think that they were trying to hit on me rather I just thought they were nice girls and sometimes even nice blokes (yes gay guys hit on me and still to this day).

I didn't get good at knowing aside from the obvious, until I became single and finally allowed to go out once the world of stupid lockdowns during that time of that thing I care not to mention ended.

Once I was aware of it though it took a little bit of learning because sometimes I thought I was being hit on and the person was actually just being nice or rather a nice person.

I'm terrible at it regardless of someone's gender. I've had both men and women flirt with me and I just end up dismissing it as them just being friendly or just end up missing it completely. I've had to be told later by my wife that they were flirting lol

how can you tell if a woman is actually interested? and what if other women have told you a woman was flirting with you? does that mean anything or do they misinterpret like guys?

Most guys don't do well with this my man. The only guys who do do well with this are the guys who just assume every woman is flirting with them.😆 which kind negates there being any skill involved.😆

Most women like to keep plausible deniability. So they do just enough to get a response. But little enough that at anytime they can deny that they did anything. And then they wonder why guys get to a certain age where they just tell them to f*** off.😆

I was once at a dinner in college and my female friend told me that a girl had been flirting with me. I said she was just being friendly. She responded with "why are men so dumb with flirting? You could see her position her body in her chair at a certain angle...

It made no sense to me. I ended up dating both of them. I guess she knew what she was talking about and maybe was a bit jealous.

Yeah, lots of people don't pick up on it. Because women do it diff. than men do, they think that our flirting, isn't flirting, and that theirs is, vice versa
