Girl i kind of like that I know from work says my name a lot but today told me she likes my name out of the blue? Am I reading too much in to it?

In these situations I think it’s just best to cut to the chase — you know you have developed a crush, so either do something about it or just move on. Truth is none of us can speak on her behalf, we can’t tell what this or that means, because we are all different. You could have someone tell you that it means absolutely nothing, then someone come tell you it means absolutely everything, in both cases neither opinion is validation. Only she can give you that.


Would I support interoffice dating? Sure, if one of you are planning to leave that job. Otherwise I wouldn’t encourage it at all, every situation I know personally about has never worked out. In any case I can’t tell you what to do, so if you know you like her, rather than waiting around for signs and hints of mutual interest, just go for it. The worst she could do is say no, and while that may suck, it’s not gonna kill you. It would give you an official answer, and also help shut that door of curiosity for good.
