I don’t really talk to him much like that but we do chit chat here and there I talk to his other friends more but he calls over to talk and says randomly you got me Luis and Daniel I was oh okay like that’s random

If you were really good then you wouldn’t be posting about some drama that happened at work like several times a week. Do you feel like any of that is normal for a work place? Because it isn’t. You are never talking about doing your job, just problems going on with this or that person. It’s super toxic and strange.

I think he's trying to break through that formal work barrier and have a conversation with a little more substance. So he brought up Luis and Daniel out of nowhere... probably because he noticed you're comfortable and chill with them, and he wanted to find a way in. But he's still holding onto some formality himself, so it came off random instead of smooth. That's my read on his sudden move.
