You don't. At least not in the first 2 minutes. What would you think of a woman who followed "Hello" with "Now, tell me your deepest darkest fears and desires"? If anything, the emotions you should be exploiting in those first few moments should be fun. Things like her sense of humor. Make her laugh. Or her sense of curiosity. Throw something out there and just leave it hanging. Refuse to tell her how it ends. Save the deep conversations for quiet moments somewhere down the road.
That's still evoking her emotions, I didn't say which emotions, just emotions. Thanks for the advice, I'll tell stories and leave her hanging. I'll try to evoke joy instead of fear.
When you leave her hanging and she asks for closure on the story, ask her to tell you how it ends. See if she can get creative. See if she's playful. Or whether she's a total dud with no imagination. Next...
If I told you to NOT think about a pink elephant in the room what's the first thing you're going to think about?
Honestly, I’d just be genuine. Ask about things she cares about, tease a little, share stories, and actually listen. Making her feel comfortable and understood works better than trying to manipulate her emotions.
Well, that’s just weird to try to do when first meeting someone.
