Ok , so over the summer I met this girl at work and she would always be excited to see me and would smile and give me a hug a lot. Once classes began again I stopped working there but we kept in touch and she would always keep saying she can’t wait until I come back. Well I’ve been back for a while now and she acts completely different not like she use to and barely talks to me.

I’ve haven’t done anything to upset her and during my classes I would pop in once in a while on the weekends and she would be all glad to see me. But now nothing? any ideas guys?

i wouldn't even waste my energy on this, I mean you are not the one with the issue, she is, this is the thing that I always try to tell myself in these kinda situations, if you've not changed, if you haven't said or done anything to her that would make her behave this way then accept that this person has the issue and no answer that you will get on here is going to help you because your not the one with the problem. Do you know what I mean? It shows how much you like her that your trying to understand her, which a lot of men wouldn't do so you deserve credit for that but just be yourself, act the same as you always have and she will prob come round, if not its because she has moved on maybe with someone else and she can't tell you...let her see that your moving on with your life too, hate to say it but the less available you are, the more interesting you'll be to her.

Well, going off of experience. I would say she could possibity be seeing or talking to someone. Most girls to whom lose interest in a person, its usually because they met someone else or they found something out they did not like.

I had a similar situation where I met this guy and we talked forever, and finally going to hook up then all of sudden he stopped talking to me. No text, no calls, and no response. So, naturally I deleted him from my life, my phone, etc! A month later he comes back and wants to talk again. Said, he has some family problems, and issues in is life that needed dealt with. He need time alone and space so he stopped talking to me.

My advice would be talk to her about it. If you can no get a satisfing ask then let it go and move on. No need in wasting time on someone who is willing to waste there time on you.

Maybe she is just confused as you are.

She was probably trying to get you to ask her out. And trying and trying. But since you never did, she assumes you don't like her as much, and now she feels like a fool.

Talk to her, and see where you stand. Are you still her secret crush, or are you now just a friend.

Maybe something happened in her life and she isn't talking to anyone as much as she use to. Or perhaps she found someone and feels guilty being flirty with another guy. if you didn't do anything I don't think she is mad at you or anything.

Sounds like you two were just getting to know each other went things came to a halt. She could be seeing someone or it could be a thing where she was trying to be nice to you but may have had a change of feelings.

Point blank don't waste too much time wondering what happened and point blank ask her out. If she isn't interest she will either say no, she might say I don't view you that way or she may say yes. Don't do what I did and take months before you realize it is time to take action things may not seem the same now but in time they may get there and get a lot better or they may never go beyond the hugs you had so stop fretting on the past and worry about the present.

A couple of possibilities: maybe she found someone else; maybe she needs time for herself ( at times, I tend to cut myself off from the rest of the world- just to be with myself); maybe she realised something about you that has put her off..

I suggest you have an open conversation with her - tel her what you feel, and see what she has to say.

Maybe she had a romantic interest in you and lost that interest when she met someone else. That's probably it if you can't pinpoint a reason.
