I deleted my crush from Facebook. Did I do the right thing?

I deleted my crush from Facebook. I thought this guy liked me, he gave me all the signs--he would stare at me when I walked past, he approached me and playful teased me, he would flirt and move near where I was standing, etc. But recently, he told me that he didn't want a relationship. I later hear from a couple of friends that he's a player and hooks up with girls at parties, when he's drunk.

I deleted him last night on Facebook. I want to move on and forget him. It's going to be awkward if he finds out though, since we have one class together..but I've been doing a good job of ignoring him.

Was that an immature move on my part?

No, he lead you on and you're taking the steps needed in order for you to get over him in a healthy manner. You have to look out for yourself before even worrying about how someone else feels who doesn't even deserve that attention.
