How to get a gym staff guy?

I am a regular at a local gym, and I see the same staff over and over... They're professional and do their job and basically ignore me aside from glances which is their job... I am pretty but rather quiet...so tell me, how can I befriend maybe even date this one cute particular gym employee who I am interested in? Would they even be open to my flirting/advances considering this is their work environment?

Yes, I used to work at a gym so you have to remember that as an employee I came across a lot of girls, older women would flirt with me, younger girls would flirt with me, and it was hard to tell what was just flirting and if they really wanted something more.

Girls did all kinds of slutty things to get my attn, they would pull up their shirt and show off their bodies, like "do you think I"m fat?" or "do you like my tattoo", another thing was they would say they figure out how to get the tanning bed started and when I would come in they would take their shirts off (with a bikini top underneath)

So what I'm saying is that the employees there come across a lot of girls who want to f-ck, so if you want this guy you'll have to out do them.

But as a guy, did you ever see a pretty girl you wanted to know? Did you flirt with her or did you act indifferent?

yup there were a lot of girls I liked, one brought me ice cream and free chicken from work all the time, I didn't really make any moves though since there's so many girls flirting with me, if you want this guy you'll have to be a little more direct about it

did you act/treat the girls you liked any differently than other customers? did you try to be near them a lot or stare at them etc?

Even if you know how to use the equipment, just pretend to be a helpless girl that doesn't. Say, "hey, can you show me how this works?" Once you have him isolated, fess up to your fib of knowing how it works and tell him that just wanted to corner a really cute guy and talk with him. From there, I'm sure you know what to say. :)

Just smile at him when you see him and then gradually work up to saying hi then how are you...and so on. See how he takes it!

what if the whole thing's reversed? If a female employee was interested in a guy would she do the same? Especially coming up and asking about a workout I was doing with a smile on her face (I actually almost thought I did something stupid and she was coming up laughing to tell me about it), although I am part of developmental training programme for my particular sport and she knows that but what I was doing wasn't really sport-specific at that time.

well she previously also came up and asked about what I'm doing over the holidays and would sometimes asked if I had training or going to training, but she's a bit inconsistent. Sometimes I'd catch her eyes and she'd smile, other times I see her walking towards me in my peripheral vision so I look up and she'd glance and then quickly look away and just avoid eye contact staring straight ahead as she walks past.

Don't remind me. My 11 year old takes swim lessons and has the hots for her instructor who's probably twice her age. I keep telling her I'll tell him - she doesn't want him to know.

Learn the persons name first. Use the name. Hopefully the other person eventually becomes interested in learning your name. That's a great place to start because those people don't usually bother learning every ones name. So it would set you apart from everybody else.

try and start a conversation. just basic conversational skills. talk about anything the weather, a TV show a movie or a current event. youve got nothing to lose really and everything to gain. only got one life to live in this crazy world so go for it

but how do you start a conversation out of the blue? lol... "hey, so the weather is nice..." lol

its not as hard as it sounds, you just make it sound harder then it is lol. just say hi, have a friendly manner about you, and try to start up some small talk, introduce yourself and things build from there
