(This question is more so directed towards the female population of GAG, although male users feel free to pitch in your thoughts as well.)
Well, she lives pretty close by to where we work, it being less then a 15 minute walk. I see her everyday going home, and sometimes going to work in the morning. Lately I have been offering her a ride instead of having her walk, it's along my usual route, and not out of my way at all so I figure it's no big deal right?
We talk about our day at work, and occasionally I'll ask a little about herself. I enjoy her company, and she seems to feel the same way towards me. I've been trying to get to know her better and this seems to be one of the few ways I'm able to do so. Although the drive is <5 minutes long, I try to make the most of it.
I guess what I'm asking is:
1) Ladies, would you get annoyed if a guy offered you a ride day after day, without you asking him?
2) Would you be annoyed if you got used to this routine, expecting him to pick you up, and rather one day he just drives right past you without explanation?
If you had a boyfriend, and he was single..
3a) Would you still get a ride with him even though he might just flirt the entire way?
3b) What about the occasional 'harmless' flirt, is that uncomfortable to you? (Example: ...That's one of the things I love about you.)
3c) If he isn't hitting on you, would you still get a ride with him? Would your boyfriend have a problem with it?
4) What sort of topics would you want to talk about?
5) By him giving you a ride, do you ever feel compelled to answer his questions at all?
