By a plain shirt, do you mean a tee? Is it longer N looser like a boyfriend tee some girls wear over leggins, or one more fitted that stops near the waist? Before we dated, I saw my ex get more attention because she strated tucking in her shirts and/or wearing things more fitted N figure forming. On the other hand, my BFF didn't change a thing, except to belt her jeans after she lost some weight. But, even with her shirts out, guys started looking twice because the belt cincxhed in her waistline just a little bit, giving her the illusion she had slightly more curve. The most important thing is: stick to styles/outfits that are YOU! It sounds like you look grweat as is, because it is you, N I'm sure you're getting more notice than you think. But, if you start wearing a style you don't like N would never wear other than to get noticed, it'll show that you don't like how you look, guys will be turned off by that N you'll be miserable! Well, the most important thing about gaining attention is a silhouette. Colors can give you this, even when you're modestly dressed.
Wear contrasing colors that emphasize your curves, such as a skirt with leggings or tights, where the colors of the skirt and tights contrast.

If you wear a plain tshirt, you're probably a little self conscious about your stomach or your boobs. While that's OK, you should pair it with something a little more flattering on your bottom. I personally prefer skirts on a girl but if you want to wear shorts, it's fine. The rule to dressing, if you're going to be modest, is if you cover up one thing, you have to show a little skin on the other thing. Otherwise you come off as prude and nun-like...no one wants that
I mean just wear something tight or a little less conversative to show some curves or cleavage.
