What could be a reason why a guy would not want to date a girl who is physically beautiful, is really cool and has a great personality, has the same "social status" as him, mutual friends, etc. and the guy is well aware the girl totally wants him...?

Nearly every woman thinks she's perfect and hot.

I see evidence of this every single night.

Im sorry I'm not going to date a girl who thinks she's perfect even if I'm aware that she likes me.

I think the point where she brings out a salt shaker and sprinkles it on my head, licking her lips would cause me to run.

Or maybe it was her three pounds of donuts that are peaking out of her purse that might clue me in that she can't stop eating.

Either way she's probably not perfect if the guy won't date her.

She just thinks she is, just like every woman does.

No woman thinks she's perfect, just like all guys know they have floors but put up a front that they're awesome! Bit harsh! But I get your point, if a womans all up in your face, acting like she's the best you could ever hope to have, it's a turn off. Guys like a challenge- as do women, if you know it's avalible to you straight off the bat, the flirting dance is kinda by passed. Its boring frankly.

Or he just likes being single, or he's insecure and thinks she's too beautiful etc... for him, maybe he hates going on dates- they are awful interviews for compaterbillity checking! Maybe he can't afford to date or has met someone else he feels more of a connection with. Maybe he's waiting to see how the friendship naturally develops. 101 reasons really!

In my experience, people who think they're hot, perfect, and God's gift to the universe are not. They're mediocre at best. Even then, their unjustifiable arrogance makes them less than mediocre.

Alsssssssssssssssso, no one is perfect. He probably didn't see as much anyways. Humbleness can take you a long way.

Most guys know that 'perfect' girls are impossible to keep.

Perfect girls can get any guy they want (more or less) and since most guys do not think of themselves as 'perfect', they know they have no chance, at least long term.

Also, 'perfect' girls have grown up that way and can have personalities oriented towards everyone always sucking up to them, which can make them really wierd.

A nice, down-to-earth girl who isn't perfect is generally a better choice.

Well I think your definition of perfect is not the same as mine. If she were truly perfect she wouldn't be impossible to keep. She would be in fact down to earth.

I think you are right in the fact that if she thinks she's ms perfect princess, i.e. a spoiled girl who generally has no personality, then yes if she THINKS she's perfect then we probably don't want her long term.

The truth is, he's probably not aware that she wants him.

The only way to know for sure is for the woman to ask him out, or give him your number.

Thats the only way.
