What do you think of swimming as a date idea?

I've been seeing this guy for ~1 month. I suggested we do something outdoors the next time we hang out and he suggested swimming.

What do you guys think of that idea?

Hmm...

I swam in college, and I remember seeing the women's team doing their drills, and every one of them would be dripping wet, standing at the side of the pool, waiting for the coach to tell them what to do. And ALL the guys would be watching, because the girls were starting to freeze and we could see every nipple from across the pool poking through their bathing suits.

Could be your guy's motive. But have fun!

Yeah forsure go swimming! My boyfriend and I have been dating for less then a month and we went to the lake last weekend! You guys have tons of fun and he'll see you with no make-up! Just put your hair in a bun after you swim or if you don't want it to get wet put in a ponytail before you go in! If he really does like you he won't care what you look like after swimming! :))

Sounds fun but think about afterward. Are you going to have to take a shower and get cleaned up? Or will you just go home with a wet head? Just a thought.

I wouldn't want to go on a swimming date just because when my hair air drys it gets all frizzy and crazy! So I'd wanna take a shower after before we did anything else.

Always a good idea. Especially if you look good in a suit. Also drinking a couple cool ones while doing so, never hurts.

Sounds fun. Just make sure you both make your intentions clear though. If he thinks you're going skinny-dipping and you think it's just a date at the pool, then things could get a little awkward and tense.
