What's a good way to ask a guy to hang out, without sounding desperate?

Well, as explained in my previous questions, there is this guy I like. Um..how should I ask if we should hang out. We text pretty much everyday, and he finally texted me first early in the morning! Which I was overjoyed about. :D

I know he's busy, but it's been a week since we last hung out...but I just miss him. But I want to tell ask him...but I'm afraid maybe he'll get upset or questionable about it. I'm not bold. I'm shy. He's a nice guy, and I'm sure he won't get mad if I ask him.

What's a good way to ask him? he's waiting on a phone call from the manager to get his part time job soon. Would it be best to wait until he knows his schedule? Hmmm. Please help me.

I know I have been through the exact same thing as you. I know it can be difficult for someone to bring themselves to ask another person to hang out. But I think the best way to ask a guy to hang out would probably be funny about it, and let him know that it would be fine if he couldnt. Tell him that you would like to hang out with him sometime, it will actually make him probably feel better as well as you. It would give him some kind of closure that you like him as well. You never know untill you tryy(: I hoped this help in some way!

no, of course he won't get 'mad' about you wanting to hang out. Just text him one day and say something about how you're bored, maybe you wanna go do something with me. I was thinking about going out for ice cream or going to the movies. make sure you sound non-chalant.

Does that sound good? Because usually he comes to my house and we pretty much either sit and talk or we go for a long walk to the park and talk. We have gone to a movie before in the past. But I like it when we're alone. hmm
