When someone says "Whats the craic?" or "So any craic?" how should I respond?

A guy in a nightclub just said this to me last night and I know its stupid but I didn't know how to answer him lol... it just seems boring if I had to just say "awh not much now"... so what would be a clever or interesting response do you think? also I am very shy and I can easily get tongue tied so this is why I didn't know what to say. and yeah obviously you kinda need to be Irish to answer this question since you may not understand otherwise lol

Well there's the smart arse, sick answer, "none besides my own", which is horrible but will shut him up. Cad e an craic leat? will flummox him unless he actually speaks Irish. He's just saying hello really so there is no right or wrong answer

Its an Irish expression. There is no direct translation as nothing really means that same but it can mean "any news", "what's up". Then there's mighty Craig which is brilliant fun.
