Girl gives me her number, doesn't respond to me?

Hi, my name is John. Recently, I've worked up enough courage to ask out a girl I see almost every day at a music store. She said yes, gave me her number without asking or anything. I wait two days and text her, she doesn't respond. I wait another two days and text her, still no response. I'll probably end up seeing her soon seeing how I shop at the place she works almost daily. What does this mean? What should I do when I see her? I'm still really interested in her

Okay man..there are a couple of possibilities...

ONE: she wasn't woman enough to reject you to your face (in person)

TWO: She's sly..and gave you a number that wasn't yours. (next time..call the number they give you while you're standing in front of them)

THREE: She gave you the right number but is a structured girl...and is still fuming that you waited 2 days to contact her. To make things worse..you texted her instead of calling.( if this is the case you don't want to date her type anyway.)

FOUR: She's ignoring you hoping you will get the HINT.

FIVE: Dropped her cell phone in the toilet.

SIX: Didn't pay her cell phone bill...Okay..this is a stretch.

SEVEN: Your text messages are jammed in a cell phone tower somewhere..and it could take a week before she gets them:...just saying..its happen to me...but very unlikely.

What ever happen really doesn't matter bro. What matters is if she was really that interested...this would not have happened...she would have made it easy for you.

Next time: (next girl) Wait 5 days after you get the number (in person) to CALL. If they don't answer leave a message...Name number...give me a call. Wait another 5-9 days...call again...if no answer or no return call after the 2nd time...throw the number away. Women on here hate it when I say wait 5 days...don't listen to them..believe me it works.

When you see her again..smile...act like your normal self...DO NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT TRYING TO CONTACT HER. Its okay to talk..just like old times...but as far as a relationship goes...other than just friends...Shes lost her chance with you forever.

Exact thing happened to me another day. I texted her back, nothing. Then when I see her, she ignored me.

P*ssed at the time, but then you realize it's not worth it. She's just too young, confused, and angry.

You need to stay away from those kind of people if you want a happy life.

Likely it means she was just being polite as she works at the store and was thinking an indirect rejection would be better than a direct rejection.

What should I do when I see her?

Perhaps let her do her job.

Seems she doesn't reciprocate so it's probably best suited to focus on available gals and not ask them out when they're working as they may feel they need to be polite/friendly to a customer.

Just say "Hi, did you get my text?"

She'll probably say, "Oh, yeah. I've just been really busy, sorry."

Then you say, "Ok, no big deal."

Then you tell yourself, "She's not that into me."

Then you move on and the two of you just get on with your lives.
