Why are guys attracted to antisocial or innocent girls?

It just make me wonder at times why guys give me so much attention when I'm dressed modestly everyday, try to keep to myself, and I'm not a nerd but I do get good grades, I never party. Yet I find myself being oggled at by guys who seem too desperate to get themselves noticed. I mean if there are so many other pretty girls, who dress you everyday and are ready to party or have a good time with you, why would you waste your time on a modest, indifferent person?

Not every guy wants a party girl. Also some of the more outgoing girls appear more intimidating to guys who are more quiet themselves. Think about it. Some of the more shy men out there see her and think, hey, she must have a lot of competition because she's going out all the time. Not every guy relishes that.

Also, not every guy is looking for a bubbly personality when it comes to a girl. Some prefer the quieter ones who are mysterious in their own ways. It doesn't mean that they'll always have the courage to approach, but if they did work up the effort, they'd probably go for you or someone like you.

And what if the guy himself is a big party animal? Then what, wouldn't he rather have a girl who he can take around and show-off? Why choose modesty and indifference then?

Well, there could be a number of reasons.

- He could see you as a challenge, as you're not the usual type of girl he's used to going after

- He could be tired of the party girls

- He might not care if you don't want to party with him

- He might like both party types and quiet types

- He might prefer someone with a different personality than his own and likes contrast in a relationship

Here is why: because I've dated quite a few loud, high energy social girls and they turned out to be some of the worst people I've met in my life. Extremely immature drama, excessive partying and drinking, no standards at all, I mean its repulsive. I only go for the shy, quiet girls now. I love those and they make great girlfriends especially since I'm not one for random hook ups and one night stands.

I'm very shy and never party, people also tell me I'm pretty. I notice that guys find shy girls a lot less intimidating. I swear, the only guys who ever ask me out are the ones with really low self esteem or creeps because they figure "she's quiet and nice, she'll never reject me."

Don't flatter yourself. All guys ogle girls. The shy ones and the party girls. I get approached everyday and I am not a shy person. It's not a big deal.

There's something about girls like you that's a lot less superficial. You take care of yourself, but not in a way that screams "look at me! I'm here!" You get good grades, which makes others assume you're intelligent. Some guys want a girl who's actually more human than silicone.

If they didn't think you were hot, your nature of social interaction wouldn't matter.

But additionally, antisocial girls can appear to have fewer guys pursuing them than extremely social girls. Even if that's not true.

And guys tend to avoid competition if they can help it.

They think a naughty girl is a sure bet to a blow job and other nice things, girls who dress modestly often are modest, and would never dream of masturbating themselves whilst he has his nadger in you. all men like an innocent look, I certainly do, just cannot find one anymore, my wife keeps stopping me lol

Im a guy and I grew up in a very strict traditional family. I'm also very intelligent, outgoing and only recently started partying after I left home for college. I have never had a girlfriend but I don't like the personalities of most girls out there. They are rude, bitchy, slutty, unintelligent, narrow-minded, gold diggers, etc. I'm considered a very nice guy and get a lot of girls, even the partying ones want to date me because I am decently looking and speak confidently to women (a quality I didn't have before).

My ideal partner is someone I can see myself spending the rest of my life with. In a way I'm a hopeless romantic. I want a smart, decent/innocent, mature girl who is actually kind and caring. Believe it or not its immensely difficult seeing this in people nowadays. I just got accepted to law school and as I get older I wonder if I'll ever be able to find a girl that I actually would want to marry.

I think you're confusing the word innocent with decent which are both synonymous. A lot of guys go out there find and hang out with the party girls and find that life style isn't for them. That's where decent girls come in when they've learn that a decent girl is priceless.

Almost everybody realizes that life isn't for them eventually. The people who party forever end up becoming white trash/strippers/hobos/etc

Right. I wouldn't want a party girl either. That's not my kind of life. Like you said they end up being trash stripper hobos you name it. I don't like the wild lifestyle at all. Some do because they're just as wild and some are wild for a while. When they get serious they'll be looking for a decent girl with a tame lifestyle.
