Why would a girl always get checked out but never asked out?

I´m tired of guys checking me out all the time. I mean, I like it, it´s flattering, but nobody ever asks me out. Why would this happen?

Whenever I go to bars with my friends guys leave me little notes saying I´m pretty and stuff like that happens to me all the time but nobody EVER ASKS ME OUT. Sorry, I´m a bit upset. Why do you think this happens? Do you think they may think I already have a boyfriend?

I know it´s not my looks because if they´re checking me out it´s because they find me attractive and besides, I know I´m very pretty (I don´t want to sound annoying, but I don´t need other people to tell me this, I already know it and I don´t think it makes me better than anyone else).

I´m shy but it´s not like I live under a bridge and not talk to anyone. It´s just a bit of shyness. If I stopped being like this, I wouldn't be myself.

I agree with the guy below. Getting and keeping a hot girlfriend seems like more work. When I flirt with a cute/average looking girl, they seem to really appreciate it. Hot girls are nice to look at, but they seem less "human" to me. Meaning that you are very sexually appealing, but just don't seem quite as down to earth as a cute (even if she isn't stunning) girl next door type. Like the other guy said, a lot of hot girls give off vibes like "don't bother me" which leads me to think many if not most if you think that average guys have no point in dealing with you.

Men want to be wanted too, and the more average girls just seem to give off vibes of accepting our averageness. Most hot girls I know just seem to be floating in their own air which doesn't seem that open to advances by me or any other guy. In fact, I know more single girls that are hot than that are cute/average. I think most men prefer cute/average only because we perceive it as being less work. Whether or that is true, I don't know...

You are probably giving off bad vibes.

Plus, most men don't want a really pretty girlfriend. We assume you are too demanding because you know you're hot and can use it against us. Not all hot girls are like that, but a lot are enough to deter men from actually making a move. I'm not surprised in the by the number of hot girls who are single but don't want to be. I think if more beautiful girls did a better job of calling out annoying hot brats, more guys would find you approachable. Also, most guys with average looks/personality/etc are still going to think you think you're too good for us. Honestly, are you going to be interested in an average guy? I have a hard time believing you would want to go out with someone like me, because I'm very average and normal. Nothing exceptional about me. Average/cute girls go for me, and seem to be happy with that. I don't think your average beautiful girl would gladly date me. I'm just too "normal".

i have the same problem. I get told quite often how "hot" I am or how pretty I am, and some ask me why I don't have a boyfriend, but that's the extent of it. Personally, I think it is because we are shy. I'm pretty shy and that keeps me from approaching guys who say these sort of things. I tell myself I'm gonna change but when the situation comes along again I get shy again.

Body language often determines how much a girl is approached by guys. Are you smiling and making eye contact with guys when you are at the bar? Most guys are intimidated about approaching a pretty stranger, and need assurance from her before doing so. Smiling with your girlfriend's(doing so will help you appear gregarious and less likely to be stuck up) and at guys should drastically improve the rate that you're being approached.

Maybe they think you are taken, wouldn't give them the time of day, unapproachable, intimidating, or they just don't know what to say without thinking you will think they are stupid or creepy
