Do guys pretend to forget things about a girl or what she said, in order to appear 'hard to get' ?

do men seriously have bad memory naturally, or do some men purposely act like they forgot a girls name for example, or something she said once that reappeared in a group convo, or some funny inside joke that he mentions how funny it is and how he can't remember who told him the joke...when in reality it was only between him and the girl..

do guys pretend to have bad memory? is it common in flirting?

I remember everything about everybody no matter what or how busy I am.

Sometimes I guess a guy could pretend just to ignore the subject..and I remember pretending a few times because I was concentrating on just having a good time and not feeling anything lol.

I only have a bad memory when I go to the store and try to remember what I needed to get :(.

Pretty much. But it doesn't necessarily mean he's not into you though. So next time the guy forgets, you can either let it go or remind him (but in a non-argumentative way).
