Why guys don't like female bodybuilders?

Question

I'm a bodybuilder and I've been turned down a lot by guys because I'm bigger than them. But Honestly its what I love doing... I just don't understand why guys don't like me for it

I believe there are many more men out there who are attracted to muscular women, but lack the confidence and bravery to go against what society deems acceptable. You don't want those guys anyway. Some day when you least expect it, someone will come up with a smile on their face and say "hi I'm John" while holding out his hand. He'll then say something like "I appreciate all of the hard work you put into your body and I wanted to tell you that you're beautiful." Where it goes from there will be up to you. I think it's hot. lol I'm actually attracted to one of them, but currently, she's a little bigger than me. Once I get big enough, I'm def going to ask her out.

My friends think I'm gay but whatever. I like muscles in a girl. Especially if she has a cute face.

I agree dating body builder guys. I think probably it has to do with our genetic make up Buffy's are attracted to feminine frames because they are good for givingbirth. Girls like strong guys because they can protect them. But it's not always that way, someone will like you for you but you can't expect the majority to have that body type as their ideal

Hey girl I feel your pain. At the gym guys would rather hit on the stick thin makeup enhanced sluts on the treadmill and turn me down cause I can beat them in arm wrestling. But I won't give up weights for some stupid guys. Somewhere out there there must be guys that will think we're awesome!

Female body builders tend to have very masculine looking bodies.  The majority of guys prefer girls with feminine frames.   Maybe try dating body builder guys?

No body is addressing the real problem ! STEROIDS ! Men or women. God wants you to have a happy and healthy body, because it's God's temple NOT YOURS ! Everything you do should be to the glorification of God. GARBAGE IN GARBAGE OUT! When you use steroids to build a muscular body for your own glorification, that is a total sin against God ! Steroids not only affect you physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. Steroids aren't evil, they have many good uses. Guns aren't evil, but in the wrong hands,, see my point. Men and women are losing their way. WHY? Simple, because we have taken GOD out of the picture! We have become such a narcissistic society. Sad. Look, get this straight, God loves you spiritually not physically. TO COME TO THE FATHER YOU MUST GET PAST THE FLESH!!! GOD loves everyone. IT'S THE HEART THAT YOU MUST CHANGE ! But, don't forget, God is also a jealous and vengeful God, when you continually harden your heart to him, there will be horrible consequences to that. Your Spiritual souls can live for eternity, but your Earthly body will rot away and pass from this Earth forever. I want to be with you all in heaven. We will hear God say to us , GOOD JOB MY FAITHFUL SERVANT, ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD, or DEPART FROM ME FOR I NEVER KNEW YOU. The latter will be eternal separation from God and at that moment you will know the true meaning of hell. I hope the first for you all. Spend less time worrying about yourselves and more time seeking God's will. I promise you will be a happier person and at the same time securing your place in heaven with God. Ehh, to be brutally honest I think it might be because like when guys think of a woman/female we kind of automatically think like girly/feminine stuff.

I'm not saying all women are like that - I'm just saying that's what comes to mind when I think of a female.

That and I'm like honestly intimidated by women who are more muscly than me.

I guess it's because like if I do something wrong - she can probably like mess me up real bad and I guess in a sense it would make me feel like emasculated.

There are undoubtedly a portion of guys out there who are into that though. So keep doing what you love.

If it makes you happy, don't bother about the guys who don't like women with muscles. You're doing it because you love it and it makes you happy. Those guys are probably insecure about you being muscular and stronger than them. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. There are lots of beautiful female bodybuilders out there. I admire female bodybuilders and respect them because they get a lot of hate undeservingly. What you do requires a lot of discipline. If I date a female bodybuilder, it will never bother me that she's bigger and stronger than me. If we connect and get along, thats all that matters.

I think there's a point where they stop being sexy. I am attracted to female bodybuilders, I like a muscular woman. However when her face and voice goes then it's almost terrifying. I like them because they are obsessed with perfection and have a goal they pursue endlessly. It's very attractive for a woman to be that way, outside of the fact that you will never have to complain about her weight. Lol. I'd marry one if she knew her limits in terms of feminine appearance.

It's because you look very manly and muscular, and men doesn't like the idea of spending time with "guy-like" women.

Apparently guys who just want a muscular girl to treat like a woman and not like an object are a little few in number nowadays...
To those guys, their thought is "I'm good looking but don't work out that much - why can't I just find a woman like this? It's all I friggin want in a woman!" Lol

it's not just about being bigger.. I hate to be brutally honest but I believe most guys don't find muscular women attractive. Some muscles and toned body is sexy, bodybuilder muscles are not.

I'm a fit and athletic guy and I've been looking for a female bodybuilder to date for quite a long time - and I just haven't been able to get close enough to one. So I'm thinking that if you keep looking, you're definitely bound to find a guy soon. chin up! :)

Most guys just don't like a "buff" look. If a girl likes working out, I don't really mind. However, if she looks really ripped, it's a turn off, for me... I have to be honest.

The body isn't as feminine as it could be, is it? If you dress and act like like a lady and have a feminine face, you'll still find a guy, but a lot of guys are going to steer clear. I've found some attractive from time to time.
