Why does every girl on here say that they don't like muscular guys?

99% of the girls on here say they don't like muscular guys, but I know they are lying because most girls do. The ones who are telling the truth are unattracted to them because "they scare them" which is dumb because how are you gonna be so scared of muscles? Cmon, lets all admit that the majority of girls love guys with big muscles. I'm a skinny guy and I know it for a fact. Why are all these girls on here lying about that?

I just read something about this the other day!
First, personally I like muscles and being toned, but there are guys whose biceps are the size of my head and all of the ones I've encountered have this ego with deeply rooted insecurity which is a scary combo.

But for what I read, more women are actually attracted to toned, strong lean guys not really big, steroid looking muscles because of evolution and survival with a mate. Toned guy would be able to run and climb quicker with a higher endurance whereas a guy who spend all of his time weight-lifting would actually have a lesser chance of survival. Nowadays, the ideal mate body image is more based on societal standards rather than survival and the threats are different so girls are more likely to find either attractive.

I'm definitely one of the girls on here guilty of saying I don't like the heavy body-builder type. My rationale would be that 1.) the dude would spend an extraordinary amount of his time in the gym, 2.) he would likely be on a health kick so he might judge me for eating junk food, and also 3.) the possibility of roid rage comes to mind.

At least for me, my preference for body types would be toned, slightly fit, or even a bit fluffy lol.

PS I'm sure your body type is fine, but if you think you are unhealthy please consult your medical provider. Some folks have the ectomorphic body type, so it is just in their nature to have trouble gaining muscle or fat. ✌🏻

No I'm healthy, but women do not like my body type. It's the reason I can't get a girlfriend, or a girl to sleep with me, or a girl to even be attracted to me. I know it's a fact and most girls cover it up

i actually do prefer skinnier guys. All my crushes/boyfriends have been quite skinny, and I've just never been as attracted to muscly guys. My friends don't get it, we'll be watching TV and they'll be admiring Chris Hemsworth and Ryan Reynolds and guys like that, but I don't think buff, muscly guys look that nice, definitely prefer skinny guys

No I didn't. I didn't plan to she was only a friend, but she was very attractive and told me that. The fist guy is too skinny for most girls they want someone who looks like they can protect them, not someone who looks like they'd ditch them in the event a fight was gonna break out

I don't think so, but where are the proves of this fact? Are there scientific/real biological studies that proves that? However, it may be because a lot of muscular guys maybe are more confident with their self-image and more likely to be extroverted, but it's just a supposition, I knew and know a lot of guys without a muscular body that are confident and many girls find them really attractive. The personality of a person, is also another fundamental aspect when we talk about what we find attractive, so a beautiful personality will always more chances to attract possible partners. But anyway I know you'll probably stay with your opinion, and at the end it's okay if you really think most girls only like muscular guys, become a muscular guy it's not so difficult. Yeah kind of. I'm tired of girls saying they don't want a muscular guy, but then go and date a muscular guy and it sucks even more for me because it's impossible for me to gain muscle I've been working out for a year and a half and I'm still skinny

It's not impossible. Eat more, get enough protein, and do heavy weight training. Shaping one's body isn't impossible for anybody, you just need to do it more intelligently and continue to be diligent.

I eat four full course meals everyday from the cafeteria packed with macronutrients and still can't gain the weight. I've tried every trick in the book the only thing I haven't done are steroids and I'm considering those

I mean, you can keep convincing yourself that your body just works differently than every other human body in the world. But it doesn't. Sounds like you have an extremely high metabolic rate, not uncommon for skinny guys, but there's a healthy way to achieve what you want.

I did the healthy way and it isn't working. So that would mean it's unachieveable. I ride a bike to my classes every day, but that's not burning a whole lot of calories and I can't avoid riding my bike to my classes.

Biking isn't the way. That is great for burning calories and dropping fat, but will do basically nothing at all for building muscle. You need weight training and protein.

I do weight training and protein, everyday except Sunday, and all the compound excercises too. And I eat enough protein and calories to surpass my needs everyday

Good. Now keep at it, keep adding weight, every single day if you can. This isn't some crazy mystery man. Keep lifting and lifting more, keep up the dietary needs, get a decent night's sleep every night, and keep at it. Eventually biology will win out. If not, you're some freak of nature and you need to be locked in a lab and studied for the rest of your life.

That's not true. There are plenty of conditions out there where it makes it impossible for some people to gain weight and I don't know if I have one of those conditions or not. I've been working out for a year and a half and it only toned me out, not made me bulkier.

I am, but strength does not equal muscle growth. You can be skinny as hell and lift heavy weights. I do it all the time. People look at me weirdly when they see me squatting 225 and I'm only 5'8 and 132 pounds.
