I want to attract alternative girls but can't

I've always had a thing for alternative girls. Nothing too crazy, but girls with tattoos and pink hair. Free spirits.

I've never been able to attract them. In person, at shows, at bars, online, anywhere. Girls who go for me are usually educated, responsible, caring, and BORING.

Help me out, how do I start attracting the kind of girls I want? What do alternative girls like? Physically and personality-wise?

Btw I'm 6'2", muscular, toned, shaved head, have one tattoo, dress nice but pretty casual. Like nice jeans with a cool tshirt and a fun blazer.

Maybe try going for girls at alternative venues who don't have the most ostentatious appearance and behavior? Generally, the "first person to catch your eye" types are both hard to land and hard to date. I know quite a few alternative girls whose tattoos aren't always obvious, who have funky but less flamboyant hairstyles and who are unique, but not provocative in style. Especially when you get out of your teen years when most people are trying to stay employed in some way (outside of self-employed people ... art festivals are great places to meet really unique folks).

Do you have an alternative "thing" (No, not a price albert) ... Like an interest that would fall outside of the mainstream? The environment, steampunk, anime, foreign film, poetry, veganism, etc? I would say getting involved in something that interests you is a good way to open the door to like-minded people ... generally there is a wide range of personalities with a similar interest, so you may meet someone that way.

Um most alternative girls I men are the Most SWEETEST/BORING girls on the planet, They have tattoos, piercings, and dyed hair, but they are usually VERY traditional, when it comes to relationships. I've never met a traditional woman that didn't have a breast feeding, Stay at home mom mentality.

You are normally a representation of the COMPANY you keep. IF smart, nerdy, responsible girls are attracted to you, That is more than likely the person YOU ARE.

Also who says alternative girls aren't smart, and responsible?

Your whole view of women sounds skewed, and they all more than likely don't enjoy what you have to say to them.

There is such thing as an alternative girl that is educated responsible and caring. I have blue and purple hair, two tattoos, and 12 piecing. I'm also a grad student in the counseling field. Is that the kind of perspective you want to hear from?

Maybe it's your community/area? or maybe you need to be looking for a different type of alternative girl?

The blazer might turn me off, might make me think you don't want to get dirty (not the sexual sense- the play outside, work on a car sense).

Personally I like guys that are confident, but respectful, and smart doesn't hurt, but that is just me.

Alternative girls seriously suck you'd be lucky too find them at a bar, plus they aren't vain either they don't care muich about waht you look like nor their positsion in society.

Yeah, chicks that aren't vain, shallow, social-climbing barflys must be a total nightmare. ESPECIALLY one that cares more about a person's character and personality rather than what's on the outside... GROSS!

Simply start acting and dressing like them.

Don't associate yourself with those women who you really don't want to be with.

Grow out your hair. Longer hair softens the face and doesn't make you look like an egg or you could get a short back and sides. Jeans and a t-shirt is fine and don't bother too much about being muscular. Don't change yourself too much though.
