Can some girls be blind to Flirting?

There is a shy girl I know since 3 months, and when I say that "she is different" she did not take it as a complement but thought it in a negative way, later I somehow managed to get her understand that that is a complement and I tried to mean no other girl is like her...

Is it possible that she is blind to flirting? How will I deal with her?

BTW did I freak her out or something and can this be something negative?

She chatted to me that day asking for help in formatting her computer and installing Windows. Just like any other regular day chat, but this time she was asking me whether I am free or not. I said it's OK I can show her now... But then she again said if I am not free then I can go now and we can do it later. I replied back I will have lunch in 10 mins, and she said, OK she will remember that and take track of the time... This I didn't hear from her before, is that something negative?

Some girls (and guys) can be blind to flirting. Sometimes, it isn't obvious, so you need to make it more obvious. Sometimes, girls are shy, or maybe they're modest or innocent. Any combination of these might make it so that a girl doesn't understand flirting.

I doubt there is anything negative in this friendship. She simply asked you to help her out. There is nothing wrong. That's what friends do. They help each other.

she could be inexpirenced with the opposite sex. Try to make her smile and laugh instead of making her feel so odd, then she might feel comfortable around you.

also if she is anything like me she could be turned offf by guys who seem to be very flirty or hitting on her. I'm just the type of girl who likes a friendly, friends first approach. If a guy is just straight up "im attracted to you" type of flirting, then I become uncomfortable and will feel like the guy is treating me like a piece of meat.

im just very very picky, maybe she is too. And I'm picky because I already know what I want and I don't want to lead guys on if they are not what I want but that doesn't mean you can't be friends with her/me because once I get to know you more, I may like you more and more and will eventually become flirty.

Ok I made her feel odd I guess... Is it going to turn her off completely? I will try to make sure to make her smile and laugh from the next time. But will that work now?

no she is not totally put off by you yet, unless she just avoids you. lol but next time you see her, continue to try and make her laugh and smile, and if you really want to know more about her then ask her questions about her life, and ask her about things that she likes and then it will make her feel like you are interested in her as a person and not as a piece of meat.

Flirting is hard to tell . Some people are so vague. Some do it for fun or are just really friendly. And everybody does it differently. Be direct.

You should just be sincere and be more expressive in your flirting.
