What if a girl always asks me to do favors and returns them? Is it possible she may like me?

I'm 18 and I work at an after school job with a girl who's 17. I think she's shy, cute, and nice but haven't really had the opportunity to get to know her better. We talk here and there and I found out that she tells our coworkers that I'm cute, but I didn't think much of it and we don't interact often.

However, she always asks me to do favors; not as in she constantly asks me to do favors and I always accept (I'm not a tool), its when she does occasionally ask for a favor she always asks me not someone else. For example I heard her tell the boss that she was not going to be able to make it one day and the boss said go find someone to cover your shift. Of all people she came to me with a nervous smile and asked me and I accepted. Another time she was really busy recording stuff and she asked me if I could take a few and so I did.

I also realized that she tries to do me favors in return without me asking. Once I was carrying stacks of folders and she asked if I needed help. I said I was alright and tried to be a man about it ;). Another time she took some of my folders to help record stuff and I thanked her and said that I could manage but she insisted.

Is it possible she may like me considering its always me who she asks and returns the favor for?

That is a massive contradiction, you're being a tool and doing what a lot of friend zoned guys do to no avail, doing whatever for her.

I don't think asking you to take her shift is any real evidence of her having an interest in you, she's not going to be seeing you or getting closer to you in any way if she's not even at work, asking you to record stuff, possibly if you're doing it together. If not it seems pretty normal work behavior .

If you're the main person she interacts with at work she might possibly like you, if she's told co-workers you're cute then why not just ask her or start being flirty at the least? If she doesn't tell co-workers everyone else is cute.. lol

It seems as though she likes you. You would definitely help her out by allowing her to help you when she offers. When you turn her down it probably looks like you have no interest in her. In any case is there any reason you would not want to simply ask her out sometime?
