Girls playing with their hair, flirting?

I recently observed that girls that I talk to will usually play with their hair. These are girls that are both single and are in relationships. They will sometime:

1. Twirl the end of their hair.

2. Loosen their hair and pass their hand through it.

3. Re styling their hair.

Is this a flirting or normal behavior. Thank you.

I do it for several reasons, I could be bored, I could be self concious about I because the weather could ruin my hair or I want to call a guy´s attention. It depends really on how she does it. She could do I while smiling to you and being flirty in other ways, or she could just do it and it wouldn't mean anything

I touch my hair when I'm nervous, bored, uncomfortable, flirting, fixing it, or because I'm spacing out. So see if they do those things when they're not talking to you.

I usually do it when I'm uncomfortable, and it tends to ground me. Or, sometimes I'll do it when I'm thinking about something else.
