Don't understand what I'm feeling after my first hug, what's happening to me?

Yesterday I got my first hug from a girl who ain't my mum. It felt intense and mysterious. I don't know how to control my thoughts and feelings because I enjoyed it and had a weird feeling at the same time that I can't explain. What's happening to me (I'm 23)

You got butterflies it sounds like. That's cute. It was something new and maybe unexpected for you, so that's why you felt a little strange afterward I'm assuming. I guess a "first hug" is kind of like a first kiss to you in this situation since you said you've never been hugged by a girl besides your mom. sometimes hugs can be meaningless but there can be some that are a bit more , there was one girl during the summer that gave me a hug after a night out at bar and it was something I found hot and sexy at the time . but often hugs to me are very meaningless and I wouldn't normally feel anything . so it sort of depends on situation and if you like girl or not
