Why won't he give me a key to his apartment?

Okay so me and my man have been dating off and on for 3years now! and we are even talking about getting engaged and serious thing like that we love each other to death! The only thing is is I'm always at his place like its "ours" I have things there, but the thing IS he STILL hasn't given me a freaking KEY! am I over reacting! I mean it's NOT like I'm going to become some crazed chick if I have access to his place! I just told him "u know if I had a key to your place I could be there when ur home start dinner etc.." of said it costs money..WHATEVER I'd like some opinions on this I KNOW that a key doesn't define our love tho

He's not ready for it yet. For a guy this is the last piece of his identity, something that he owns and controls. As soon as you get the key, event that part of his life is now shared. That's not easy for a guy to deal with. All you can do is give him time to be ready to share that with you. Don't worry, just give him a chance
