If a girl starts giggling when she makes eye contact with a guy, reliable indicator of attraction?

If I smile at a random girl, she'll usually smile back, probably just being polite. But girls I've known, when I give eye contact and smile, have smiled back and started giggling. Is the giggling a reliable sign of attraction?

I've know more than a few women and men who "giggle" or laugh when drawing attention from strangers, or having to interact with people they don't know.

I haven't met any women who giggle as way of flirting with people they don't know. That usually happens when they already know someone and are overwhelmed by excitement with them.

I don't know every woman on the planet, but from my experience I would say that giggling is not a reliable sign of attraction, unless you know the person.

Here's my opinion. If we're talking about one girl. Does she talk childish like in movies when she is around you? That's the key. Looks at you, smileys, laughes, giggles, makes eye contact and breakes it after 2 secs. That's the kind of girl I am, if she does theese it means she's into you. On the other hand if we're talking about a girl group and they're staring at you and laugh afterward, it means there's some kind of a talk going on about you. It most possibly could be one of them liking you or you did something awkward.

It certainly can be! Unless you look awkward, funny, or made her uncomfortable. That could be reasons why I'd giggle. But those are only about %10 of my giggle smiles when I smile back at a guy. I just felt I should add that because I wouldn't want a guy thinking I giggled because I liked him if I didn't. And I don't mean to giggle then. The other %90 is because I think the guy is cute, I don't mean to giggle then either though:) I just feel bubbly and nervous sometimes if a really cute and strong looking guy smiles at me!

Could be, but not for certain. Is she normally a giggly person in general? I might giggle a little extra when I like a guy, but I'm normally quite giggly in general, so it's not enough of an indicator on its own.

She may just be awkward and not know what else to say. Depends on how she giggles. When my giggle is high pitched and short I am just awkward and don't know what else to say.

How old is the girl? If she's 16- then yeah she probably likes you. 16+ either really childish (but likes you) or laughing at you
