Did I give him the wrong impression?

So I have a guy friend at work I love talking to him and we have a ton in common. After two months of hanging out at work he got a girlfriend. I was a little bummed because I was starting to really like him but he seemed super happy so I was happy for him. I quickly changed gears because since he has a girlfriend I don't want to go there I completely respect that. I have been the girl that gets cheated on so I know how much that sucks and I would never do that to someone else. For the past few months though all he ever wants to talk about is his girlfriend. He tells me everything even their fights. I mean I am glad he trusts me but it seems like he is trying to drill the fact he has a girlfriend into my head. Recently he started asking what I would do in those situations. For example they had a fight because he was texting a friend of his who was a girl and had been his friend long before they met. He told me everything then was like what would you do. Today he was telling me about rules she had gave him and how he can never win. Then asked me what would I do in that situation. I feel I may have given him the impression that I am after him and he is trying to make it very clear he has a girlfriend. What do you think? If I did how do I change it?

I think he is not that into that girl...what kind of person would tell everything about his girlfriend ,even the conflicts the two are facing, to a friend who IS a girl and with whom he has a good relationship.EVERYBODY knows that friendship between men and women do not exist! and I don't think he is bragging about it neither (guys don't do that! girls do!) I think he's trying to make you jealous and push you to tell him to leave you alone because you don't want to be a homewrecker but when you would tell him that , he WILL immidiately think that you like him because men think that the world turns around them!and that's what he wants I think!

I would say that you have nothing to do with this because you said that you don't him to cheat or something and that shows that you have good intantions and I think that he's into you!and if he likes you and wants to talk to you then it's not your fault honey...it's just that you're awesome to him! so I would stay the same if I were you but try to keep a distance between you two to make things clear...you could also talk about it since he seems open to it! I'm sure you'll work this out! it's time I stopped typing! bye!

I don't think it's possible for us to know. He may just be venting to you or he could be trying to make you jealous and act cool.
