Shy girl, inexperienced.

Ok. So I've had crush on a guy for a long time and I finally apporached him and he have me his number. The problem is that I can't tell if he likes me back. I was alway shy around him and I think he was to, there was this time we locked eyes and he didn't look away or smiled and the second time I think he did it on purpose. I was confused I always thought he didn't like me. I always felt like I wasn't good felt like wasn't good enough, so the though of him liking me wasn't possible. So when I apporached he was a bit chatty with me and nice. He asked where I lived , how long I've been attending the school, and so on and right when we stopped talking he asked me if I was leaving. We've texted one day he was telling me about himself and asking questions about me and it's been two day since. I want to keep talking to him but I don't want him to think I'm a freak. So what I want to do is text him and asked if he doesn't want to talk me and say that if I've annoyed him in any kind of way. I think he has tried to apporach me but I was scared and felt like wast good enough. I've never been with anyone or had anyone ask me out. I would to know what guys think about this.

Don't worry too much, he's clearly interested in you and enjoys talking to you. Also, don't make yourself feel like you're not good enough for him (or anybody else for that matter). Love is about who you are, so just be yourself, that's what he seems to like. ;)

Did you show interest in him by asking him personal questions too? It's important that you do or he'll think the interest is only one way. Maybe the conversation ended because he was doing all the work i. e. asking all the questions? If you want things to go somewhere, the next time you see him and make eye contact, smile and ask him how he is.

I did ask him questions and i was the reaching out to him. The last text i sent him he ignored it and never contacted me since then, so i took that as a sign of disinterest. I had him a semester again and it was awkward i felt embrassed and ashamed. There was many times he tried to get near me and made lot of eye contact but NEVER said a word to me. I was just sick in tried of trying to figure him. I like him a lot but i need save myself some dignity especially the fact that I'm a girl. Can you tell me whats up with guys sometimes? lol thank you

sometimes we are as afraid to make contact as the girls, especially as we are also capable of thinking a lot about the girl we like so we get it too built up in our heads and then it makes making the move difficult. The best way to approach it is to relax and think it's not the end of the world if he's not interested and that someone will come along who's right for you. So next time you see him smile/wave and make some conversation. You've got nothing to lose.

can i ask what questions you asked him? i ask because this girl who i like, who is maybe a lot like you (shy/inexperienced), always whenever she starts conversation with me asks me the same question - how is your sister. she can easily find out for herself. but she hardly asks me personal questions as it's usually me carrying the conversation.

You're right about that thanks but it's too late lol i dont see him anymore :(. Ima try to be brave for the next guy lol. And about your question, it's probably just her way to start a conversation with you its like an excuse. Try to approach her and say "hey whats up hows it going :)" try to get things moving, time will tell if she's romaticlly interested. You have to get her to be comfortable around you especially if she likes you it can take awhile. Us girls (especially it's she's shy and likes you ) want to get to know guys first. You will have to get her comfortable around you before she can honestly BE herself but like i said you have to be patient and dont force anything. Good luck! I hope you have better luck do ; ) lol
