She rejected me because she has a boyfriend? now she's mad because I'm ignoring her?

What's going on here?

After the first time I ignored her, she ignored me back. Then when we saw each other, she wouldn't sy anything, just looked at me like she was p**sed off.

Then the last time we saw each other, it looked like she'd got over it and was jumping about, as if she was going to come talk to me, but didn't so I just walked off.

What's going on?

Although we don't work together, she talks a lot to the people she works with about me - I know this for a fact. So, I don't know...

I don't agree with martyfellow. She's in a relationship, back off. Would you really not start seeing any red flags at all if she ever decided to break up with her boyfriend to be with you? She could just as easily break up with you for someone else. Don't trust that kind of behavior.

Basically she wants your attention without any of the commitment. Or, you know, she just doesn't like it when you ignore her just because you got rejected.

Either way, I'd stay away from her. Find someone else who's not in a relationship.

Some women get a bad rep in these situations. Not that I don't agree it almost always has to do with attention...but sometimes we become friends with a guy because well that's how he fits into her life and it can be frustrating when someone you thought was your friend only wants a relationship with you. But that's the way it is. She's being very immature about it so I'd go with the attention grubbing daisy theory.

She wants to have her cake and eat it.

She doesn't want to be with you, but at the same time she either wants you there as a permanent back-up or more simply is pissed off at the idea that she's not the only girl in the world you could possibly want.

Unfortunately, many girls act this way.

Of course, if you had persisted instead, she would have accused you of being arrogant, entitled or even creepy/stalkerish. You can't win.

You should never give up her, boyfriend or no! Still flirt, still act interested in what she says, don't just ignore her because she has a 'boyfriend.'

I want a relationship with her... I think she talks to her co-workers about me, and I'm having a lot of problems with people over the whole thing with her, and although I don't know for sure, I think she's told them to back off? They've all stopped now anyway.

Attention whore. I don't understand why some girls want MORE attention once they're in the relationship. Some people are never satisfied.
