We are omnivores and require meat as a balanced diet. Vitamin B12 is only found in meat. Plus it is delicious. If you want to look at the environmental aspect of it; as a meat eater I am eating the problem and vegetarians are eating the solution. Thusly I am more environmentally friendly than vegetarians.
Yes it is. Nature designed the food chain and people ended up on top of it because of their superior intellect. Does anyone think that when a big fish eats a smaller fish it is somehow against the natural order of things?
She didn't ask if it's ethical to eat food. She said MEAT Some people find it not ethical because animals get killed in the process It's not rocket science
@Tinaaas Is that any different than killing a plant and eating it?
Besides humans are omnivores, we are incapable of producing certain micronutrients on our own and must get them from meat in order for our bodies to maintain homeostasis. Your right, it isn't rocket science. It's biology.
Ofc it's different to eating plants. Plants don't have a nervous system or a brain so they may not feel pain unlike animals. Pretty sure you know that since you're already aware this is related to biology right?
I read the article and it just backs up my statement tbh It says plants don't have a nervous system (which I already said) and they don't feel pain in the way that humans do but they might still respond to an attack If they don't have a nervous system or a brain then they must feel little or no pain at all unlike animals
@Tinaaas The respond to damage, but if your antiquated concepts of pain is all that matters let’s just make sure to shoot our cows in the head before eating them.
I believe the only pont on if it is ethical is with how meat is farmed at the moment its damage to the environment the act off eating meat itself is fine
In America usually no cause they abuse them. Really they abuse them in most countries too. I still eat it cause at the end of the day its already dead and it would be a waste for someone not to eat it. Plus I love meat too much.
Well it is a crime to not cook well a perfectly fine piece of raw meat. Other than that, have at it. I don't eat/not eat for ethical reasons. I know I function well when meat is on the menu.
I think it's very ethical to eat meat. It's a great source of protein you can't get in any other food or manufacture. Mankind has eaten meat since the beginning of time. I enjoy eating meat and crave meat.
Mankind has not been eating meat since the beginning of time, we started off as herbivores have evolved to become omnivores (like most primates have) as we absorb certain things better from meats than we do from vegetation.
Meat helped in developing the Human brain. Otherwise we'd would have never made it place the Australopithecus stage of Human evolution. Going vegetarian or vegan are just steps backwards.

I think not eating eat meat is unethical.
Cause if you don't eat meat you are choosing to not control the animal population in the world while simultanuosly eating the animals food.
If everyone stopped eating meat animals would in the end start eating eachother cause of lack of space and food and than they will be eaten alive.
So yes meat eating is ethical and it is healthy as fuck too

Of course it is. Just be humane about it. Quick and painless
Did you really just ask if it's ethical to eat food? Like what the fuck kind of question is that?

Sure it's ethical. Humans are omnivores. No one debates the ethics of a zebra getting eaten by a lion.
Of course. Although red meat ain't so great. White meat better for health.

beans, eggs, nuts, yogurt and even broccoli allllll have protein 🤦🏽♀️
Yes they do. My body gets more protien from meat then any of those sources.

Depends if you think ethics are real or a social construct
Best Answer ever.👌👌👌
Yea we need meat due to it's proteins. I mean we could get it from somewhere else but that would over farm the land
!0 tastes great 2 ) it's natural we are omnivores sorry vegans
I eat red meat when I feel like I need extra iron. I don't have it often, maybe twice a month.
It is about the culture you are born and brought up into, I think
Like the farmed meat no, but hunting on your own and eating that meat is in my opinion.
Yes. Human life is the most important, and especially in poorer country, they need meat to survive.
